COMMUNITY INVITED TO REVIEW AND PROVIDE FEEDBACK ON DRAFT ELECTORAL AREA D PARKS AND TRAILS PLAN

(Campbell River, BC) – The Strathcona Regional District (SRD) is inviting residents to review and provide feedback on the Draft Parks and Trails Plan for Electoral Area D (Oyster Bay–Buttle Lake).

The Parks and Trails Plan will guide future improvements and investments in parks and trails, helping create a well-connected network of outdoor recreation spaces that meets the needs of residents and visitors.

The draft plan has been shaped by community input gathered during earlier public engagement sessions this year. The SRD thanks everyone who participated and shared their ideas and priorities.

The Regional District is now launching the third and final round of public engagement, with opportunities throughout July for residents to review the draft plan and provide feedback before it is finalized.

Residents are encouraged to review the draft plan, see how community feedback has been incorporated, and complete the online survey by July 17, 2026, at srd.ca/area-d-ptp.

We want to hear from you!

Please complete this online survey available from June 19 to July 17, 2026.
