The Strathcona Regional District (SRD), in partnership with community groups, contractors, and residents, cares for a network of parks, trails, and community spaces across the region. SRD Parks Services manages a variety of natural and recreational areas, offering opportunities to explore, relax, and connect with the outdoors while protecting important environmental values.

CONSTRUCTION UPDATE

CONSTRUCTION PERIOD
August 27 to September 1 - removal of existing equipment & wood chips, and preparation for new equipment. September 14 to 18 - installation of new equipment and surfacing. Paving is also expected to occur in September pending the contractor’s schedule.

PARK ACCESS RESTRICTIONS
The park will be closed during work hours, while the contractor is operating equipment on site. The park will be open on weekdays in the evenings, or when no work is occurring, and all day on weekends.

CONSTRUCTION HOURS
Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Please respect all barriers and follow signage and crew directions.
