Please Note: Skate shop staff may look open inside and outside of these hours, but staff may be not available for skate sharpening if they’re teaching lessons, short staffed, dealing with a high volume of public, or still in training on our skate sharpener.
Pool Drop-in Program Descriptions
All ages. Includes rope swing and games hosted by our fun leader for all ages, all pool areas are open. Our weight room, waterslide and diving board have been decommissioned due to the REC-REATE construction on our new aquatic & wellness centre.
Children ages 0-6 must have an adult (16+) in the water within arms reach. The ratio is 3 children to 1 adult.
All ages, but parents or caregivers must be in the water swimming with their children. Leisure pool and main pool shallow end only.

Main pool only. Please follow signs for fast, slow, and moderate lanes based on your swimming ability. Number of lanes available is indicated in brackets, i.e., Lanes (2).

Arena Drop-in Program Descriptions
Leisure Ice and Arena 2. All ages welcome. Foam pucks will be used for all pond hockey sessions for everyone’s safety and a portion of Arena 2 will be sectioned off for participants to play hockey.
A helmet, gloves & hockey sticks are the minimum requirement to participate in Pond Hockey. All participants not playing hockey but participating in public skating are strongly encouraged to wear a CSA approved helmet. We have a limited number of extra helmets available next to our skate shop.

Arena 2. This non-contact recreational drop-in hockey program is a great opportunity for players of all levels drop-in hockey game throughout the week. Full hockey gear and CSA approved helmet is required. To participate, you must pay the drop-in admission fee and add your name to the sign in sheet.
