The draft plan is available for review and comment during an online open house and in a survey.
Campbell River, BC – The Strathcona Regional District is developing a Parks and Trails Plan for Electoral Area D (Oyster Bay - Buttle Lake). This plan will guide future improvements and investments in parks, trails, and active transportation, with the goal of creating a well-connected network of park spaces and movement corridors.
This summer throughout July, the Regional District is engaging the community in the third round of public consultation to review the Area D Parks and Trails Draft Plan.
A survey is open now until July 17, 2026 to weigh in on the draft plan and a Virtual Open House is being held July 9th, 2026 from 6:30pm to 8:00pm.
The input will help to produce the final Parks and Trails Plan in September 2026.
