Storie Creek Park was created when the surrounding neighbourhood was subdivided in 1977. In the mid-1990s the existing trail network in Storie Creek Park was formalized and developed by the Regional District and local stream keepers.

Natural Features

The park includes a salmon bearing stream and the adjacent riparian area, providing habitat for fish, wildlife and rare plants.
