Swim Lessons: We are excited to welcome our community to the new aquatic facility in late October. We are using the first several months of operation to establish strong systems, support our staff through the transition, and ensure that when swim lessons begin, they are organized, safe, and set up for success. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we make this important transition. We are incredibly excited about what the new facility will offer our community and we look forward to offering swim lessons again in January 2027.
Last-minute schedule changes will be communicated in the top notice bar of the Strathcona Gardens pages. Arena drop-in programs end Sunday, May 10 and will return Sunday, July 19.
Please note: admission to our drop-in pool programs will close 30 minutes before the last drop-in swim program of the day.

A helmet, gloves & hockey sticks are the minimum requirement to participate in Pond Hockey. All participants not playing hockey but participating in public skating are strongly encouraged to wear a CSA approved helmet. We have a limited number of extra helmets available next to our skate shop.

Full hockey gear and CSA approved helmet is required. To participate, you must pay the drop-in admission fee and add your name to the sign in sheet.
