The Evans Bay Wharf was transferred to the Regional District by Transport Canada in 2010. This remote facility offers a floating dock that is an important transportation access point for the community. The dock was expanded in 2017 to provide more much needed moorage space. Local residents provide ongoing maintenance and are proud of this great community asset.
