    The Strathcona Emergency Program is pleased to offer a FREE Earthquake First-Aid course to Campbell River & Area D residents in conjunction with this year's annual "Shakeout" Earthquake Drills.

    This course will better equip you to care for your loved ones after a major earthquake with the following learning objectives:

    1. Slings and splints
    2. Stop the Bleeding (Pressure Bandages and Tourniquets)
    3. Wound Care
    4. Moving an Injured Victim (Techniques and Best Practices)
